Prior to becoming a lawyer I enjoyed ten rewarding years as a registered representative in the securities industry.  For me the practice of law is even better than my time as a stock broker because I am able to help more people.  I have enjoyed practicing law every day since I was first licensed in September, 1988.  Nevertheless, I have found that my background in investments helps me in my practice of law, especially with regard to disposition of marital assets. 

In 2003 I obtained my masters degree in Business Administration in order to stay abreast of recent changes.  I enjoy studying and learning, which is good since an effective lawyer must be willing to research and study the constant changes in the law. 

The cases I handle involve very serious and emotionally-charged issues, and I take very seriously the fight to preserve my client's rights and assets.  Enjoying the work is almost a requirement of the job, and I do enjoy it.
